I love it. We find these stashes in empty flowerpots all over the place, and in the woodpile. My friend Craig Johnson tosses peanuts to the Douglas Squirrels. They run off to stash them while the Steller's Jays watch. The minute the squirrels turn their backs, the jays make off with the nuts and hide them somewhere else. Just one big shell game.
