AAA estimates that 42.5 million Americans will travel this Thanksgiving. That's a 4% increase over last year, despite the economy! Getting on and off Whidbey Island can be a little tricky this time of year. There are long lines at ferry terminals and it is not unusual for weather to disrupt ferry service.
